We hiked this canyon from the other side of Jenny Lake. It is a gorgeous hike and filled with so much to see. If you continue on up, this will take you to a lake. We had to turn around at this point, due to the thunder clouds and rain. I want to return to climb further!! Guess I'll have to plan another trip someday!
@klemieux I was able to process this shot I took from up in Cascade Canyon just before we had to head back down the mountain. Trying to fill my blank spaces and thought I would include this shot.
@exposure4u Cool!!!! On our way out of there we hiked up and over Paintbrush Divide. Clouds were rushing in and it got really windy at the 10,700 foot divide. It was quite a day. The Tetons were my first major backpacking trip.
That trail doesn't look like it gets used as much as some of the other trails there. I find that in most national parks, all you have to do is get on that less used trail and you usually have the place all to yourself.
Excellent view and shot.
