...and It Came Over the Mountain.

I wanted to take this with the snow on the burn area. It really brings out the contrasts of the burned trees and rock. It you look in the background, you can see the burned trees on the mountainside also. We lost 364 homes in our neighborhood. Lots of rebuilding going on and sure is nice to see the new construction!!

Oh those stick mountains look so sad to me...i saw some of that in Idaho...kinda spooky at night! i am so glad they are building and that the snow gives it a fresh new look! Wonderful Capture Wendy! :)

@jgpittenger It was scary. We were evacuated from our homes for 10 days. We didn't know for quite some time if our homes survived. Our family was one of the lucky ones who had our homes saved. I am thankful everyday for the amazing firefighters, first responders, and local police department! Our community has pulled together and acted as a team to rebuild. So grateful to be here!
