Taken in Yankee Boy Basin near Ouray, Colorado. I have been wanting to get to this area for some time and finally had an opportunity to camp near here this summer. We took Imogene Pass from Telluride over the mountains to the Ouray side...it is the second highest pass in Colorado, promising to be an adventurous ride with amazing scenery. On the Ouray side of Imogene Pass there is access to Yankee Boy Basin. The wildflowers were in full bloom this time of year and just amazing!
