Taken this morning in The Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. We have been getting so much rain this spring, this area has created a pond. It's only happened three times in the past 20 years. The last time was in 2013 and I had a chance to photograph this area at that time too. Thank you all for your concern and comments on my last post. My stepfather lost his battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma last month and it has been a trying time for my Mom and family. He was a huge supporter of mine on this site (even thought he wasn't a member, he would look daily for my photos and followed others on this site). I always appreciated his feedback and support. This shot is dedicated to Andy!
I am sorry to hear about your stepfather. Thinking of you and your family. This is a beautiful capture! What crazy weather we have been having. The lighting and reflections are gorgeous!
What a gorgeous tribute to your stepfather. I love how still the pond is, perfect for reflections. The colours are magnificent. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Sorry to hear about your stepfather. He sounds like a wonderful person.
