Nature's Subtle Glow

This was taken at sunset on Owl Creek Pass of Chimney Rock. It was a beautiful evening with storms beginning to brew in the west. We were trying to decide for a few hours on a location for a sunset shot and thanks to a great and talented photography friend of mine, we ended up in this location for sunset. The drama that unfolded was unprecedented and the colors, along with the lighting, transformed this scene over such a rare moment. So glad I was able to witness and photograph such a scene!
Wow, Wendy -- this is stunning. The lighting and the focus are just perfect! I get to be the first to fav!

Beautiful lighting, colors and mood. I was by Chimney Rock last year for the colors. Since I didn't get to go this year I can see it through your eyes!!
