Awaken To The Call of Beauty
Taken late September at Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado. It was a brisk morning with rain, sleet, and a bit of snow. The fog played on these peaks and surrounding area creating a great scene, but it wasn't until the sun had risen that the lake finally calmed to display the mirror image seen here. It was a sight I can never get tired of especially in the wake of recent tragedies. It's a time to reflect on nature's beauty and appreciate the simplicity our heart desires to behold peace, serenity, and the dignity of life and nature.
