Taken at sunset tonight at one of my favorite locations in The Garden of the Gods. I actually had another scene in mind, but the clouds seemed to be very promising over Pikes Peak. The only issue for me was climbing to a better vantage point and after spraining my ankle a couple of weeks ago, I had to muster up some inner courage, lol. All went well and some of my confidence returned getting back on my feet so to speak. It was a calm night and one I have needed for a long time. A night to shoot without the crowds, alone on a hillside I call home. It was peaceful, no wind and the light lit up the scene in front of me. I cherish these moments.
