It only happens a couple times a year that the Pikes Peak Highway is open to photographers and those wanting to shoot sunrise on top of the Peak. Saturday was one of those events, but since it was a clear sky morning, I decided to shoot sunrise on Crystal Reservoir instead. I captured this scene prior to sunrise even catching a shooting star. I hope to do this again in the future!!
