This is the crown jewel of the San Juan Mountain Range...Mt. Sneffels! I had been waiting all week to capture snow with fall color along this range and it all finally came together the day I was departing. The clouds and fog teased me all morning, only revealing portions of the peaks. As a last ditch effort before heading home, I headed up County 7 road outside Ridgway and happened upon this reveal of Mt. Sneffels! I jumped out of my car to capture this scene and was able to witness and photograph this beautiful mountain in all its glory! It wasn't long after this shot that the clouds engulfed the mountain and I was satisfied to head home for the season!
