Here is a slightly different hydrangea photographed in the front garden: I think it is a Hydrangea Macrophylla Blue Wave. I like the cauliflower like centers surrounded by the flat petals.
I've never seen one like this - how unusual - and the mix of colors with the blues, greens and almost purples is just beautiful. That white really sets it off.
