One of the beautiful ceilings in the JP Morgan Library in New York City. I went in with a friend to see the Belle da Costa Greene exhibit. She was Morgan's personal librarian, and a woman of mixed race who passed for white. Quite an extraordinary story. The library/museum was most impressive as well.
That exhibition sounds really interesting. I have put that library on my 'places' list for next year when we visit ew York. Thanks for the inspiration.
