First set of February lambs

These two, born yesterday, are about a week early.
Mom was not impressed that I was in the lambing jug (nursery pen) with her and kept trying to get between me and her babies.
The pen is small to start with, so it was tough getting far enough back to get a shot. Mom did not make it any easier by squeezing between me and the lambs.

@kathyladley They are Rideau Arcott x Dorset. We are keeping all these F-1 ewe lambs and breed them to a Texel terminal sire. We are expecting the first from the Texel in April.
