I was challenged to take a B&W picture this week. My B&W border collie seemed to be a willing subject, so I snapped his portrait while doing chores.
I even managed to capture his eyes ... which I seldom do.
Still do not know what type of lighting or subject works best for B&W, but would rather be lucky than good any day!
@lynne5477 He is a great companion. I called him Shadow because he is my shadow!

But, I must learn when B&W is best to use.
I understand about the B&W. There's a lot to know to get a really good shot. Our photo club's topic this next month is B&W so I'll be practicing to get a good shot before our next meeting.
