Old Glengarry barn

Glengarry is full of majestic old barns. I take at least one picture of them a week for posterity. I would love to do a history of Glengarry County through the eyes of the barns - who built them, owned them, and the dreams of the owners.
A lot of sweat equity went into these barns - building them, maintaining them, and caring for the creatures in them.

Beautifully built with a fine roof...much more picturesque than some of our modern barns. We have lots of old stone barns which are lovely but lots of them have been converted into houses now.
