Timmies by farmreporter

Timmies

What a treat! Hubby let me sleep in and ran to town for coffee and donuts.
Tim Hortons, is a Canadian icon, a Canadian institution that rates up there with hockey, maple leaves, and the Calgary Stampede.
Tim Horton was a NHL hockey player who played for the Toronto Maple Leafs - fondly known as the Maple Laughs by anyone not living in Toronto - and who opened a little coffee shop when he retired. It became a huge franchise after his death.
Tim Hortons is a household name here, at work at play and especially when planning to go out for the day to take some pictures. We go through the drive thru for our coffee and breakfast. If you have a Timmies you'll never switch back. We really should do a Tim Horton challenge like Pepsi did. What a novel idea. Great capture.

Timmies is always a treat. We made sure to visit one of the three locations in Iqaluit. Same great coffee, except there we had to pour it ourselves (and pay almost twice the price.) Nice hubby to bring such a treat.
