This dairy barn has been out of commission for at least 50 years but had the good fortune to belong to people who cherished and maintained it.
Recently purchased by a new owner who has plans to turn the land on this side of the barn into a fruit orchard.
I originally took a photo of this barn two weeks ago, but it was early afternoon and the light was just to harsh to do justice to the barn and made an awful glare on the tin roof. I have not learned the fine art of photo processing yet, so I waited for a better opportunity to take another picture.
It is nice to see these old barns especially when they have been maintained. There are so many in the UK that have been left to decay and others that were once working farm buildings that have been converted into dwellings.
