We have a home improvement show here in Canada called Holmes on Homes where the star of the show, Mike Holmes, insists that a a job needs to be done right the first time and every time.
His episodes are full of examples of contractors who have not done it right because they either do not have the experience to know how it should be done or they are cutting corners so they can make more money.
Well, Mike Holmes would approve of our guy. He does it right every time. He has the experience to know how it should be done, and treats every job the way he would do it in his own home.
He still takes pride in a job well done. Mike Homes would approve.
@happypat He isn't my own, dear, sweet hubby who does have the skills but prefers to contract out the home and barn improvements to this fellow.

@smithak Good morning - Yes - I was on the ladder with my zoom lens so that I did not have to get right up there with him. I don't know how he does it - getting up on the roof all the time!
