It's that time of the year when the beauty of flowers fade and the bright colours of leaves take centre stage.
Nature is rushing to finish her bounty before the snow flies. I also found Giant Puffballs when wandering the woods. They are big mushrooms, the size of soccer balls, but very boring to photograph so I uploaded this instead.
Dawn Moder challenged me to do an artsy photo with fall colours rather than my traditional snapshots of life. This is not quite it, but I will submit it anyway.
I have never seen a giant puff ball.
