Homemade

This needlecraft project, completed in 1980, was the first of many I have done. I think it remains my favourite because it is so quaint.
My get pushed partner, Junko Yokota @jyokota, just completed a gorgeous king size quilt, and wanted to see other examples of homemade. I have a few!

Beautifully created, and I'll bet you remember each stitch that went into its creation. I'm glad you have photographed it, as art capturing art. I wonder if you might have considered a different crop -- either a little more or less on the right? More of the tree's branch tips would give a sense of the continued picture (like on the left) but not make it feel like you ran out of space in your camera's viewfinder. Just a thought . . . for a future crop.
