The fellow who plowed us out last winter took his chances of going into the ditch every time he plowed us out since we didn't have the driveway marked.
He gave us orders to get it done this year!
So I spent the whole afternoon pounding in markers for our long lane-way. Most frustrating endeavor for someone who likes things straight - rocks would invariably force me to move the marker.
Job well done, though! He will be safer this year.
I presume this is for when the snow arrives...the zig zag would annoy me too but a very valid reason to go crooked...we used to use electric fencers across the fields & it was bad getting some of the posts in when we crossed a stony path!
