Hubby sent me to town on a mission once again today, so i grabbed my camera hoping to get a neat Canada Day picture.
No luck! But, on the way home, a momma turkey was leading a gaggle of chicks across the road to the other side of a stone fence.
The chicks, too young to fly, could not get across the fence. So, they tried their darnest to blend into the fallen leaves and stone fence ... a whole row of chicks holding still with their backs to the wall!
I was able to get a good shot even with momma threatening me with every ounce of courage she could muster!
