North Lancaster Cemetery

There is a mail box (with the red flag up) in front of the headstones at the North Lancaster cemetery which I have always found a bit bizarre.
I don't think any of the residents here are expecting mail!
But the mail box actually has a bit of information about the cemetery and a guest book to sign for those from out of town.
Going manual never ceases to amaze me! This shot was taken late in the evening, with very little ambient light left. I was able to push the camera to get a bright shot. Wow!
I know this is old hat for all you camera pros, but relatively new to me!
You may see more from this place when I actually have better light.

I think you should give me lessons Wendy....must be one of those things that you perhaps suddenly see the light & all becomes clear? You have taken this perfectly....I agree the mail box looks funny!

Great story to accompany the photo. The mailbox does seem a bit out of place, but has a perfectly good reason for being there. Nicely done; you managed the lighting perfectly.
