This is the steering wheel of a 1946 3-ton Chevrolet tow truck that once serviced the Glen Robertson area. The garage it has been sitting in front of since the day it died was built in the 1870s according to the present day owner.
The owner, a French gentleman in his 80s, insists that he will paint this truck, along with the numerous other non-serviceable antique vehicles in his yard, this summer and put them back on the road.
That would be nice to see.
