My get-pushed partner, Suse, @susale challenged me to use shadows in a creative way in a b&w format.
I went exploring with a friend today, and found this woodland trail. It was so peaceful and quiet and good for the soul.
Looks best on black.
It looks peaceful and beautiful, nice shadows going on, I like the stripes they are forming to the path. Nice choice btw this was one of my favorite challenges
Hi Wendy, thanks for the follow - following back, and for your challenge, very interesting! I am inbetween walking dogs at the moment, but I will go through your albums this afternoon and issue you with a challenge later on today. :)
Well, I really enjoyed going through your pictures Wendy, they are so interesting and so lovely! I saw on one of my posts that you have recently bought PS elements 14, so... for your challenge this week I would you like you to take a series of 3-4 shots of a view of your farmland maybe? or somewhere scenic in order to make one panorama shot. To make the panorama shot you will need to merge the pictures together - go to guided section and look under "photomerge" and you will find the option there. The best way to take the pictures is to overlap each one a little [so the computer can see where to stitch them together - pixel similarities] and to take the pictures portrait style so you get the most view of the foreground/background. When you have merged them you will most likely find some discrepancies in the shot and you may need to use the clone tool or the spot healing brush to fix them. How does that sound? I have made a few a panorama pictures this way but never got around to posting them on here but if you need any help, please just ask ok. If this doesn't work for you at all, please let me know and I can come up with something else no problem. @farmreporter
@stephanies That sounds like a great challenge - and one that I really need to get me working with my PS. I won't do the farm though, since it is still spring with not much green in the fields yet. Thinking of doing a panorama of the St. Lawrence River - it's really pretty.
Will do this on Thursday after the accountant leaves - whew!
Hi Wendy, thanks for your message. Likewise real life has been intruding on my photographic one, so I'm just skipping in an out an hope to catch up over the weekend! Good luck with the accountant!
Ok partner! I'm ditto-ing the full challenge! All 21 days! Let's further be accountability partners starting today.
my challenge to you is to take a picture every day for the next week - just a regular pic of ordinary happenings in your life and make a collage of the five most memorable.
As a further challenge - and this is entirely optional if you wish - is that they say it takes 21 days to establish a habit once again.
I am willing - if you are - to commit the next 21 days to posting and commenting to get back into the habit of 365.
@granagringa Thank you. I have been neglecting my posting lately - farming is always so busy in May but hopefully there will be something for you to see on a daily basis once again. LOL!
Thanks for the follow.
Have fun getting to know the 365 community.
