It's a nasty day out there with lots of snow falling. The birds are hitting our bird feeders hard to keep warm. It's no wonder I have to fill them on a daily basis!
There are plenty of feeders (13 in the back and 7 in the front) but still the birds have to fight over their favourite spots. This one is again almost empty - and no wonder with a least 20 finches hitting it at a time, only to be pushed off immediately by another one!
@blueace Well, I cheated a bit. This shot was taken from my living room window, and the feeder is located on the deck about 8 feet away. So, there is always a bustle of activity there during the nasty weather! @susale@paul10 Thank you for your comments! We have 6 bird feeders, refilled every day. The birds are legion, acrobatic and photographically rewarding...greatly for DH as he knows what he's doing. Meanwhile I'm learning and feeling the need for an enhanced camera.
