Stumped for the Winter

Well, not technically a stump yet, but this dead birch tree will eventually fall over and become a stump.
It was the wild grape vine (the thick vine on the right of the tree) that killed it. They are invasive, and eventually kill any tree they clamor up by simply strangling it.
But in the meantime, the snow and the white birch bark makes for an easy high key shot.
So very right/white!

Good high key.

with few grey tones and lots of strong blacks and whites, i believe it is high contrast. high key would have a blown up background.
