Snowy River Revisited by farmreporter

Snowy River Revisited

Oh what a difference a fortnight makes! Now, rather than a winter wonderland, the river is overflowing its banks with the early melt and torrential rain we had today. (Taken on March 1st but used as a filler to complete Flash of Red).
Like the original Snowy River, there was inclement weather here as well. The warm rain caused a thick fog over the cold snow (as you can see in the field on the right side of the photo)
For those who are interested - here is the original Snowy River.

I love the feeling in this. It's lonely and moody but serene at the same time.

Looks very different now, still quite beautiful though. The river brings a sense of energy into the picture and creates an interesting mirror for the reflections of the trees.
