Stopping by for a Bite

The new fallen snow is so pretty but it does tend to cover up any seed that happened to fall on the ground so I have to make sure all the feeders are topped up following a major dump.
This chickadee was practically in the feeder before I had even filled it, waiting to be first in line.
It looks so cold.

To this bird, you are the god-like benefactor. Don't blame him for rushing in before the crowd arrives. Nice shot.

@salza @lyndamcg @mcsiegle
The one blessing right now is that the weather is at least relatively warm The snow that falls is big, wet flakes that are almost rain,
Thanks for stopping by.

Chickadees are so much fun. I had one a summer ago that would somewhat come close to me. If I'd had a little more patience, I think I could have trained him to eat out of my hand. Good shot!

You have more snow? When will it ever end?

@paul10
Will it ever end is a question I ask myself as well! Thanks for stopping by, Paul!

Oh my--still so much snow! Mine is slowly washing away in some rain we've gotten lately. Pretty shot with the slanted feeder.

It's wonderful that birds have food in winter, a good shot

Such a pretty capture. Poor thing, it was probably so hungry, not sure what they find to eat when it is all snowy like this.
