I have photographed this skull in the past but never liked the result. I knew that there had to be a way to turn this ugly skull into something beautiful.
So, decided to give high key a try. I am quite satisfied so will now put this baby to bed.
This skull actually takes a place of honour in my garden, leaning up against one of the oak trees we planted in 2002 when we moved to our farm. The mice have been nibbling on the nose as well as birds depositing seeds.
But, it is still beautiful after all these years.

Thank you for dropping by. I always appreciate your comments. @dide@graemestevens
Graeme, I thought of you when I processed and posted this shot. It is a style very similar to yours - glad that Dianne noticed as well!
This photo certainly gives me an idea of what you want me to do for my get- pushed challenge. I'm still trying to decide what to give you for yours this week !!
Right !! I have finally decided on your @get-pushed-250 challenge! I visited Canada in 2014 and was completely blown away by the country. Apart from the wonderful scenery, fantastic vibrant cities and huge scale of the place , one thing that struck me was the amount of artwork in the streets, huge sculptures and installations everywhere we went. For your challenge could you photograph an interesting piece of street/town/city art and give it a unique 'twist' e.g. Angle, POV, processing please? I hope this is something you can do.

Thank you ladies for your kind comments. I really feel myself growing as a photographer when photos like this happen! @granagringa@lynnz
Thank you both, high compliments indeed from ladies who are so talented!

Vikki, your challenge to me way back when to do high key was a turning point in my photography. It has got me thinking about how to approach a photo to get the effect I want and so I now approach each shot more thoughtfully.
Thank you for that! @angiedanielle24
Thank you for the great challenge and kind words. Will really enjoy hitting the road to find interesting artwork!
