Windows

I really do not know why I like the solarized effect so much but I really am hooked on it.
Another shot of windows on Parliament Hill. The roof is copper, and they are getting cleaned up.
That is one cleaning I am not fond of - the roof was a deep green from the copper oxidization, but now are a pale copper colour.
I love this effect. Great photo!

Cool composition. I know what you mean about the oxidation. Years ago before we left Minnesota the St. Paul Cathedral was renovated and they either cleaned or replaced the old roof of the dome from the wonderful greenish it had been to gleaming copper color. Nice, but not the same. I loved the other. Took a bunch of pictures before that happened. I especially liked the way it looked in the winter as it started to get dark when I got off work and was waiting for the bus, and the lights they had to illuminate it started to come one. Magical. I so wish my camera and skill had been better, though I did get a few good shots. Of course it's almost impossible to match what the eye sees -- at least for someone like me.

@mcsiegle
Thank you so much for your comment on this roof.
I am so glad that I am not the only one that hates the change of copper from green to the clean copper colour! I know that change is good - but not always!

Nice. It will be green again before you know it.
