NF-SOOC-2017 Day 30 Lorne School House by farmreporter

NF-SOOC-2017 Day 30 Lorne School House

The door to the old Lorne School House was blown open by the wind so I took the opportunity to venture inside. I have always wanted to see what was inside and was disappointed at the state of disrepair.
Oh well, it's a good thing that there was light sneaking in from behind the boarded up window - it gave me just enough light for a photo.
I have now officially posted 30 photos for the NF-SOOC-2017 challenge. They were not all taken on the proper day but they were all taken close to the posted day and all followed the official rules of a 50 mm lens and SOOC.
Thank you, Richard, @vignouse for resurrecting this great challenge! It is good to sharpen our skills and get back to basics!

I finally had an opportunity to get out on a drive with a camera in hand. It was so relaxing.

@farmreporter Thank you for taking part Wendy... and this last image demonstrates perfectly that mood, ambiance and character can be achieved in camera - I like this one a lot.

Looks terrific on black, a nice eerie start to the month of Halloween ;)

Oh, you posted it in September :( :)

@paul10
Yes - I posted it for September as I got a wee bit behind on the NF-SOOC challenge so was just catching up. Now ... if I don';t get some pics posted for October I am going to fall behind again ... LOL!
As for looking good on black - I so desperately wanted to give it a bit of black around the edges so it would be better on black but this is SOOC and wasn't able. Oh well ...
