Yesterday started off so nice and sunny that I decided to spend as much time outdoors as I possibly could.
It was so nice that I decided to let the sheep go out on pasture for the last time this year. They certainly enjoyed their freedom!

I never even noticed that - thank you so much for pointing it out to me! And, guess what - the nice weather is back today so they are back on pasture today. Winter storm moving in tomorrow though so today should be last time for sure!

We have most of them in barns while one smaller group of younger ewes have an outdoor shelter that faces south. Sheep can take the cold weather as long as they are out of the wind, rain, and snow. As a matter of fact, animals kept outdoors usually have fewer health problems than those kept confined in a barn.
It was the rim lighting that caught my eye. Thank you for noticing.
