The corn was actually combined on December 9th - and our back field was the last one to get combined. It is the first year since we moved here in 2002 that all the crop got in before Christmas!
It was lightly snowing as the corn was harvested - and the snow has stayed ever since. Any corn left in the field after this date will stay in the field until the spring now!
