Old Christmas by farmreporter

Old Christmas

Yep - definitely time to put away the outdoor Christmas decorations. People in Glengarry (including me0 are loathe to put away their bright and cheerful Christmas decorations until all the dull and dreary mud soaked snow is replaced with bright and cheerful Spring flowers.
For my get pushed challenge from Joan @joansmor who requested shots of leftover outdoor Christmas decorations still hanging around. "You know the person who hasn't taken down their lights, the bedraggled wreath at the door or the blowup display sitting sadly in a pile. You know you've seen them."
Here is one for you, Joan. @joansmor More to come!

My complaint is the wreath that has turned brown, the lights that a third of the lights are out - they depress me. Good shot

@gq
Yep - these plastic candy canes line the border garden of a walkway so the vegetation you see is actually perennials waiting to come back!

You are right, I sometimes think it's the best time when the decorations are up outside, I'm always loth to turn the outside Christmas tree lights out,
