This house belonged to an older bachelor who took immaculate care of it. But, he passed away a couple of years ago, and the house is beginning to fall into disrepair.
Nothing sadder than an empty home.
For my get pushed challenge from Jacqueline to make a photo of emptiness.
SOOC - BTW ... yes ... it was intentionally made this way - LOL!
@joansmor
Thank you, Joan! I rather like it too.
But this is actually SOOC - I just converted the RAW image to JPEG in order to upload to 365, but otherwise not touched. Rather pleased with how it turned out.
Superb stark beauty. This also fits a 'white on white' theme
My get pushed challenge to you is to take a picture with 3 or 5 subjects - they can be either the same or different - using the rule of odds. I hope you are happy with the challenge.
@sugarmuser Thank you for the comment and Fav, Sharon. Much appreciated!
@kmwilliams@annied@fbailey It is always so rewarding when things work out! I had this house in my mind for the emptiness challenge and hoped that high key would work and it did!
@lynnz@lyndamcg@Dawn@lyndamcg I am really beginning to enjoy high key and the soft ethereal effect it gives. Thank you for your comments and Fav's!
Thanks for the challenge, Jacqueline ... it got me thinking on how to best show emptiness. I first thought low key and despair, but I much prefer the high key look.

So glad that you too see cold and emptiness in this shot ... I was wondering if high key could do that! Thank you for stopping by!
@arnica17 Thank for stopping by! I really appreciate it!
