I was not raised in a religious home so I really did not have contact with church, the Bible, or anything like that.
I bought this faux leather-bound Bible when I was going through some tough times in my 20s. It is a well-worn and well loved book with much high-lighting and scribbling in the margins.
It remains my favourite and most precious Bible even though I now own some pretty fancy and expensive ones now.
For the macro-personal challenge.
My favorite book in the whole wide world- and one I've spent many years reading and studying. I still have my first Bible too- it was given to us when we recited Psalm 100 in church. It's not as marked up as some of my others, but it's still brings back fond memories of the church I grew up in. And I don't think it matters when you started reading it or when you wore it out; it matters more that you read it! Love this shot- fav!
