There is a War of 1812 Re-enactment held every September at the Glengarry Pioneer Museum with people in period costumes living lives as they would in that time period.
I imagined this lady would have cherished time out of her boots and off her feet as a camp follower who spent most of her time setting up camp and cooking for the troops.
