A friend took her dog for a professional portrait but was not pleased with the results so I offered to go to her home and take some photos for her.
Her dog is extremely hyper so he probably cooperated better in his home environment than at a strange studio.
Hence I was able to get better results.
Boy - would I ever love to get some proper studio lighting!! I guess I can dream!
This is lovely and I’m sure your friend will be delighted. Can I suggest a tiny crop at the top and perhaps a crop at the bottom to remove Marilyn’s lower hand? Just a thought... portraits aren’t easy s and you nailed it!
Thank you for the suggestion. I was also thinking of spot healing around her one eye where her make up smeared.
