Val Petersen @valpetersen challenged me to capture a strong contrast of light and shade, which she thought might work well with low winter sun position and the snow. Well, we finally had some sun today and I galloped out to complete this challenge.
I rather liked how the undulating snow curved the shadows into ribbons of darkness.
I had to delay my photography until high noon today so was not able to catch the really low sun. I may be able to do some more photography to get a better shot tomorrow until it starts to once again get cloudy.
