This Saloon is for Sale

In the heart of Alberta's Badlands is the tiny village of Wayne, once a thriving coal-mining town of more than 3,000, but now only a handful of die-hard souls. Along the way, visitors will see countless coal mining relics of the past, including abandoned homes and machinery. The main attraction in town is the Last Chance Saloon and Rose Deer Hotel. Built in 1913, it is the only structure remaining of the mining days. The Saloon has walls covered with old black and white photographs of Wayne and the coal mines, plus a collection of mining gear.

I guess that the pandemic helped businesses that were floundering to close. This looks like it's in the middle of nowhere and perhaps doesn't get a lot of folks to come by.

It is in the middle of nowhere but on one of the tourist loops around Drumheller so it did get lots of business during the summer.
Not much in the off season though.
It's a very cool saloon! So sad to see it close.
