The Road Less Traveled

My get pushed challenge from Mary Siegle @mcsiegle this week was to show what makes our farm unique from the rest.
This is an old road that linked five farms to each other before the concession roads were constructed.
The road started in Alexandria and meandered its way to Glen Robertson, and then continued on it twisty way through our farm to Glen Norman and North Lancaster.
We are so pleased that the previous owners of this farm did not plow every tree down to turn our farm into a big corn field so we still have evidence of this old road.
Here is the first photo, Mary. @mcsiegle There will be a few more to come

Looks like someone is keeping it plowed too. What a great opportunity to get out and see unspoiled area.

@randystreat
I have a neighbour who uses his snowmobile to make trails through the woods for me to walk on since he knows that I walk everyday.
Theses trails get a lot of use, by me, and other people who cross country ski.
He enjoys doing it as much as I appreciate the trails.

Apologies for the delay in commenting. How cool to have that bit of history traversing your property! It fits the challenge well.
