@helenhall I didn't know Photoshop had an HDR function Helen! I've only got PSE 11. Basically Kali got me to experiment with my exposure compensation button and because my camera doesn't bracket automatically, I had to learn how to use Photomerge and Exposure sliders. You can use up to 10 images to produce the final picture but being very new to the process I stuck at 2, one quite dark and the other quite light. Great fun but a big learning curve.
