My Get Pushed partner this week, Inga, asked me to take a portrait shot showing what a person does for a living/study/in retirement. Everyone I know who has retired comments on how they don't know when they found the time to go to work, myself included!
These pictures are of a particularly busy friend of mind who not only finds the time to study Italian, but also to take regular classes in both piano and violin. She also has various other weekly commitments to fulfil and makes my life seem positively sedentary!
@ingajohansson Hi Inga, this is my response to your challenge, I hope you like it! I'm playing catch up with both 365 pictures and the May Half and Half theme so thought I'd get in early with this one:) If I get time, I'll try another one later in the week. Felicity
I love how this triptych shows how busy people are after retirement. I wonder wherever I ever found time to work. The best thing about retirement is the number of activities David and I do now. Things get so busy we don't even get time for housework either. ha ha.
I work one day a fortnight, I have no idea how I mange to fit it in :) I always wanted to play an instrument, especially piano, I doubt I will ever get round to learning it though
