My challenge for Get Pushed this week came from Kathy, who asked for a photo depicting a person enjoying an activity. I did ponder all sorts of possibilities here but the cyclists and joggers I saw in the week looked very red faced, out of breath and miserable so I ruled them out.
This evening, running out of time, I went down to the harbour in Folkestone and I spotted this lovely couple sitting on a bench looking at the little floating house. The lady's hand kept gently rubbing her husband's back and the connection to one another, to me at any rate, was so strong.
So here is my first submission - not one person but two taking in the scenery at the seaside, and you didn't need to see beaming faces to realise they were perfectly content in each other's company. I'm turning into a total old softie here:)
@randystreat Hi Kathy, I hope you like my response to your challenge, probably not what you'd expected. It was nothing like the submission I was planning in my head either! Felicity
You've described your reasoning for using this image so beautifully. Damn! I'm turning into a softie too 😀😀 A really lovely image, beautifully captured 😊
As with your other one, without seeing their faces, they do look comfortably content and enjoying sitting on the bench. There is a pint there too - so it must be relaxed.
