My Get Pushed this week came from Jackie who asked for a picture of something scary, not Halloween related. For me that's heights. My feet stayed firmly on the path leading into the distance. If I were brave enough like the tiny people pictured much nearer to the cliff edge, this would have been a much more impressive shot. But I wasn't! I don't know how high the White Cliffs are, but it's a long way down.
@30picsforjackiesdiamond Hi Jackie, this shot doesn't show the rather large drop very well at all, but I can assure you it is there, just out of sight!
I think your shot from here looks quite special. You have great leading lines taking us to the lovely mass of cloud and hints of the white cliffs add to the composition. I also really like the colour rendering on this.
The older I get, the less sure footed I become and so heights and hills mess with my mind a bit. This is a nice image of the long pathway and the drop off into the sea.
Lovely composition, I'm ok with heights as long as there's an actual path to walk on. If those people were just walking on grass by the edge of the cliffs, I'd be with you.
