All at Sea

The little pink house, one of Richard Woods' six colourful exhibits for the Folkestone Triennial, floating in Folkestone Harbour. Initially I dismissed this as pure folly but I have to say it's grown on me, it adds not only colour, especially on a grey day, but a sense of quirkiness to the scene.
Love it floating! How long will they there?

I love them. They add a touch of eccentricity to the area :)

@suzanne234 Thanks Suzanne, I'm afraid I don't know. The Triennial runs until early November so at least till then I guess.

A house boat. Very colourful on the water.

I think I can cope more with the concept of a pink house floating in the middle of the harbour than I can with pink houses dotted randomly about the countryside. Don't ask me why!

Given you wonderful photo ops

It looks much nicer floating, rather than stranded at low tide :)

Feels like there should be Lego people around it 🙂

@randystreat @jclaireyp @golftragic @littleconnie @peadar @joansmor @merrelyn @robinm @pyrrhula @johnsutton Thanks very much for your reactions to this little pink home, I find it really interesting to see the varying opinions. As Joan mentioned, it does provide a terrific opportunity for something a little bit off the wall and different from my usual landscape/flower shot. More shots from the upcoming Triennial to follow!
