The little pink house, one of Richard Woods' six colourful exhibits for the Folkestone Triennial, floating in Folkestone Harbour. Initially I dismissed this as pure folly but I have to say it's grown on me, it adds not only colour, especially on a grey day, but a sense of quirkiness to the scene.
I think I can cope more with the concept of a pink house floating in the middle of the harbour than I can with pink houses dotted randomly about the countryside. Don't ask me why!
@randystreat@jclaireyp@golftragic@littleconnie@peadar@joansmor@merrelyn@robinm@pyrrhula@johnsutton Thanks very much for your reactions to this little pink home, I find it really interesting to see the varying opinions. As Joan mentioned, it does provide a terrific opportunity for something a little bit off the wall and different from my usual landscape/flower shot. More shots from the upcoming Triennial to follow!
