The Mr Men and Little Miss books by Roger Hargreaves were much beloved by our daughters and their friends.
The Thirsk yarn bombers captured these three beautifully and brought back lots of memories of a themed birthday party and a Little Miss jumper knitted by Ian mum.
The three characters above were all very popular, Ians dad used the name of the Little Miss above as a nickname for Louise, our eldest.
Do you know these books? Can you name the above characters?
Answers tomorrow.
The first one Little Miss Giggles, striped one is Mr. Bump and the yellow one is Mr. Bounce? I', not sure about the yellow one. It's nice to see some handmade knitted characters :-)
Thank you for all your comments and favs. Congratulations to all who attempted naming the characters. Not quite as clear cut as they might be. Mr Bump is the blue and white one, bandaged from all his bumps. The yellow one in front is probably Mr Bounce as he is round and Mr Happy is more of an oval shape, The final one is Little Miss Giggles because her hair ribbons are yellow.
These were book characters when my girls were small but they were made into short TV filmsthat I remember watching with my older grandchildren. I'm sure they must be on u-tube.
