i was secretly tickled when the standard order of the rainbow and my allocated 5+2 day coincided to give me blue, as this is very much my favourite colour. associated with being half asleep, and half awake, with things half concealed, and half revealed, with mystery and dreams and things not-quite-real... But I also found this joyous poem by ee cummings which showed me a different side of blue, the fact that blue is sky is creation:
i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
