i was going to call this purple rain but then i'm no fan of the purple rain guy.
i have no favourite colour per se but i seem to have a lot of stuff in varying shades of purple -- mouse, tablet cover, phone case, computer bag, etc. -- maybe because that's the only decent colour for stuff like those.

And about the colour of everyday stuff: when I had to buy a new laptop, my first selection criterion was colour: and my options were turquoise or purple. I picked gray because my son was going to use it as well :D
