First Daffodils

These are the first daffodils we’ve seen this winter at Anglesey Abbey. There were quite a lot in flower. No doubt the mild weather has helped.

All a bit confused with the mild weather but a surprisingly sturdy flower.

I’m amazed to see these daffodils. We went to Hergest Croft this afternoon. It was lovely but not a daffodil to be seen. There were just some very small shoots,barely visible in the grass.
